Born in Amsterdam in 1974, Cyril Bath started writing graffiti and drawing superheroes at the age of eight. After a rough childhood he always found his balance with painting. In the late nineties he graduated at the Junior Academy in Amsterdam as Art Director & Graphic designer and build up more than 15 years of experience in the advertising branche. He realized a lot of successful online & branding campagnes for different clients like Vodafone, Yamaha and Ford.
After 23 years he started working with spraycans again and a old passion flamed up. Cyril ended his work as fulltime webdesigner in 2015 and started his own art & design business BatArtworks. Hereby he goes from digital to craftmanship, back to the basics. He is known to make images and stories to combine photorealism with rough elements and he likes to play with contradictions. Recently he also started to practise tattooing.
